The coast of Campeche is still a poorly known area of the Maya world. Using materials excavated from the site of Champotón by Dr. William Folan and the Universidad Autónoma de Campeche, Don Forsyth presents a ceramic sequence from the Preclassic to Postclassic periods, with insights into relations between this key coastal site and sites in Yucatan and the adjacent Maya Lowlands.
