The Wallace Stegner Series in Environmental Studies

The University of Utah Press is pleased to announce that Brigham Daniels and Lincoln Davies, co-directors of the Wallace Stegner Center for Land, Resources, and the Environment of the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, will serve as the series editors for the Press’s Wallace Stegner Series in Environmental Studies. According to Press director Glenda Cotter, the Press is honored and delighted by this partnership. Daniels and Davies, who lead one of the premier environmental law programs in the country, are equally enthusiastic about this new undertaking.

The Wallace Stegner Series in Environmental Studies welcomes academic monographs and collections of original essays enlivened by new and daring approaches to environmental studies, works that advance interdisciplinary methods in environmental studies, as well as those that explore the American West and new directions in critical topics such as Anthropocene studies, climate change, environmental geography, water policy, public lands, and urban ecology. We welcome submissions from established and emerging scholars and writers from around the world. The forthcoming The Mind of Janus: Intersections of Law and Science on the National Forests, by Jamison E. Colburn, will be the first volume in this series.
