Our Mission
The University of Utah Press is an agency of the J. Willard Marriott Library of the University of Utah. In accordance with the mission of the University, the Press publishes and disseminates scholarly books in selected fields, as well as other printed and recorded materials of significance to Utah, the region, the country, and the world.
Why Your Gift is Important
Your gift helps us to further our mission of publishing and disseminating scholarly works of significance to Utah, the region, the country, and the world.
Your gift may come in any size and form, from a small check to a fully funded endowment. You may choose to underwrite a new book title, book series, or subject area of your choice. Or you can establish your own named endowment. Contributions will be recognized on our website and, if directed toward a new book or series title, also recognized in the front matter of that title or series of titles.

- Write a personal check made out to "Marriott Library" and entering "University of Utah Press" in the memo line. Please include your full name and address in your mailing.

- Visit the secure Giving to the U website.
- Select the "Gift" option in Step 1, and then select "Go to Step 2."
- Select "Other" under "University Area," and "University Press" under "Designation." Enter the dollar amount you wish to donate under "Amount."
- Select "Go to Step 3" and complete the remainder of the form as directed.
